Basic Router Settings

5.1 Basic Router Settings
The configuration of the basic router settings concerns only your X3200 and
your local network. The relevant detail from figure 5-4, page 131 is illustrated in
figure 5-1, page 103 . There you will find examples of names,

IP address-
es , extensions, etc. If you are setting up a new Local Area Network (LAN) to-
gether with X3200 and have not been assigned any IP addresses (e.g. from the
system administrator at your head office), simply use the IP addresses given as
examples.
