5.3.20 Lighting
...>MENU>Lighting or ILLUM hotkey
Allows you to manage the display lighting mode:
HIGH
INTENSITY
The display works at maximum light intensity
LOW
INTENSITY
The display works at minimum light intensity
TEMPORARY HIGH
INTENSITY
The display is lit at maximum intensity
For 10 seconds if:
A key is pressed,
The weight indication undergoes a variation of at least 4 divisions.
The weight variation in the user menu does not affect lighting.
The "
TEMPORARY HIGH INTENSITY " configuration is not active in the setup menu, on the
remote block command.
5.3.21 Auto switch off
To optimise consumption, the terminal can be configured in AUTO SHUTDOWN mode: if the weight
remains stable and no key is pressed for 5 minutes, the terminal switches off automatically. A
minute before it switches off, the display starts to flash indicating that it is about to shutdown.
To enable a remove the option, access the manual:

5.3.22 Change unit of measurement (if enabled)
It is possible to choose a secondary unit of measurement for each scale. During the work phase, the
operator can change the unit of measurement by choosing among the two set. The terminal
converts the weight automatically when the unit of measurement is switched.
See the advanced user menu for the setting modes.
...>MENU> Change unit of measurement or kg/lb hotkey
(if kg main unit of measurement and lb secondary unit of measurement).
If the terminal manages different units of measurement, the values associated to the set points or
ranges are always expressed (setting, display) in the main unit of measurement of scale 1.
5.3.23 Menu access-Modif.Arch./Password
This function allows you to set a password to protect access to the user menu.
There are two possibilities:
the protective password has been set and therefore the protection device is active. To access
the user menu, you must press the MENU hotkey and type in the password equal to the set
protective password.
the protective password has not been set (initial situation =0). The protection device is not
active.
The password can be set by following the path:
...>MENU>Menu Access-Modif.Arch. ( to user menu )
Once the password has been set, the protection device is active and any ensuing access to the
user manual will require typing in the password.
5.3.24 Weighing operation
This function disables-enables printing during the weighing operation. It could be useful if the
operator only wants to use the printer to print the totals.
