ATTENTION

Maximum operating conditions foreseen by standard RS485:

Maximum transmission distance = 1200 m

Maximum voltage at ends = +/- 7V

For the connection towards external devices it is recommended to use a "twisted
pair" shielded cable making sure to connect the shield to the metal part of the shell of the
9 pin connector.
