Operation

Preparation

Depress the foot pedal to open the chamber door.

Install the rotor according to instructions in the applicable rotor manual, then firmly close the
chamber door.

Press

OPT

then use the keypad to enter the program number.

Check that all parameters are correct and that the door is closed.

Press

ENTER

then press

START

Wait for program step 1 or 2 to end, or end the run by pressing

STOP.

When the rotor stops, depress the foot pedal to open the chamber door.

Preparation

Prepare the rotor for centrifugation as described in the rotor manual.

Installing the Rotor

The power must be turned on before you can unlock and open the chamber door.

Turn the power switch on (

Indicator lights on the control panel light up.

Step on the foot pedal to open the door.
The door opens.

Install the rotor according to the instructions in the rotor manual.
Make sure that the rotor is seated on the drive hub.
