5.6.2 Print pH
Use this option to output the test result to a Printer (or other receiving device,
see
Note : below) connected to the RS-232 Serial port of the instrument. The
result is not stored in the instrument memory.
When the
<Enter>
key is pressed to select use of this option, the screen updates
to briefly display the following message:
The data output from the serial port will be in the format illustrated in the

When the serial output has completed the screen briefly displays the following
message:
After displaying this message for approximately two seconds, the screen returns
to the
Run/Options
prompt.
NOTE:
The RS-232 Serial port hardware and corresponding firmware of the
BCSI pH1000
are designed to operate with a CBM Citizen model
iDP-3110 serial Printer. Alternatively, the instrument’s RS-232 Serial
port may be connected to a COM Port of an external computer using
a suitable RS-232 cable. The results output produced by the
BCSI
pH1000 can then be received using the Windows ® HyperTerminal
application, or other serial data communication application. Refer to
Appendix A for complete information about serial communication
configuration requirements for this usage.
