8 Troubleshooting

Error Messages
When the
pH SAFE Reader
is unable to complete a specific task an alarm tone
is emitted and an error message is displayed. Refer to the following list of error
messages when troubleshooting.

pH1000 CALIBR FAULT!
CONSULT OPS MANUAL
Critical error
A "checksum" mismatch was detected
in Reader calibration data during
Power-On Self-Test.
Contact Technical Support for
re-calibration servicing.
RESETTING CLOCK!
PRESS KEY TO PROCEED
The clock is not running.
Clock will be reset to the default
time. Use the System Settings/Set
Clock function to adjust to the
correct time and date.
SETUP ERROR!
Ethernet module was not setup
properly.
Contact Technical Support for
servicing.
ERROR! NO PINs HAVE
BEEN ENTERED YET...
User ID and PIN is enabled but no
PINs have been defined for users
Define at least one PIN for one of
the defined Users.
* BAD IP ADDRESS!! *
The IP address entered is not an
allowable IP address
Enter an allowed IP address in the
range of 000:000:000:000 and
255:255:255:255.
PIN IS INCORRECT!
PRESS KEY TO PROCEED
Entered PIN does not match the
PINs stored for any of the defined
users.
Enter a correct PIN.
OVERRIDE CODE
IS INCORRECT!
An incorrect override code has been
entered when trying to override the
supervisor's PIN.
Return to the override Supervisor
PIN and get a new permit number
from Technical Support.
