4.7.10 Battery
A lithium battery (3 V, 1000 mAh) ensures the retention of the internal real-time clock (RTC) and is located on the
bottom of the device as a battery tray. The self-discharge time of the battery is at least 8 years

. The battery is
subject to wear and should be replaced regularly (at least after the specified service life) by changing the battery.
The battery state is determined by the system immediately after the device is switched on and subsequently every
24 hours. During the measurement, the battery is subjected to a brief load (approx. 1 second) and then assessed.
