Configuring the External Alarms

Any connected

external

alarms (section 3.9) must be enabled and configured according

to the instructions provided in this section.

To configure external alarms

1. Click on

CMU

in the tree pane and select the

External Alarms

tab. The following

dialog appears.

2. For each connected alarm:

Checkmark the

Active

checkbox.

•

Verify the alarm

Normal Mode

is set to Low.

•

Set the alarm

Severity

as Critical, Major or Minor

•

In the

Description

field, assign the alarm an identifiable name (e.g. Door

open).

NOTE: Triggered external alarms are displayed in the

Axell-CMU-Alarms

tab.
