Auto-record
Function designed to record a video while streaming a live
Fragmented
Store
Recording mode: the video is recorded by chunks in a single mp4f file.
On the Studio, the mp4f file is automatically converted into an MP4 file
once it is completely forwarded.
Progressive
Forward
Forward mode: the video file is automatically forwarded during the
recording.
This Forward mode is only available when the profile used for the Store
function is a fragmented profile.
Intercom
Function allowing communication between the studio and the on field
users using a headphone and microphone
FEC
Forward Error Correction
Mechanism that uses redundant data to rebuild the packets lost during
the transmission.
Available only in RTP

Preprocessing
Processing the video base-band signal in order to reduce the image
noise, thus facilitating the video encoding. In Auto mode, this function is
automatically activated when the ratio of image complexity to encoding
bit rate is high.
CBR
Constant bitrate
Video encoding bitrate mode
Recommended for satellite or wire connections
VBR
Variable bitrate
Video encoding bitrate mode
Recommended for wireless connections
Capped
bitrate
Maximum video encoding bitrate authorized by the encoder (in kbps,
kilobit per second) in VBR mode
Frame rate
Number of images per second (in fps, frames per second).
Interlaced
The odd and even number images of the video are captured successively
Latency
Latency between the video input in the DMNG PRO and the video
output of the DMNG Studio, in milliseconds (ms). As a rule of thumb the
longer is the latency, the better the image quality will be.
Progressive
The odd and even number images of the video are captured
simultaneously

Coding the sum and the difference between audio signals
