The eight-channel External HA screen on the M7CL shows all controllable
parameters in groups of eight.
Only active Pro64 channels on connected 6416m preamps can be edited.
Remember that the HPF parameters can only be set to on/off; the high pass
filter cutoff frequency parameter does not apply to the 6416m Mic Input
Module.
To assign channels from a 6416Y2 A‑Net card to the virtual preamp racks, use
the External HA Port Select screen which can be accessed by pressing on one
of the grey slot assignment blocks. (See the following screen.)

Channels from external head amps are assigned in groups of eight, 1‑8 and
9‑16. The diagram above shows a console that has three expansion cards
installed, for a total of 48 remote controllable channels.
