6.4 Storage
See storage instructions of each work tool shown separately in this manual. Usually the work tools should be
removed from the Drive unit and stored separately.
To store the Drive unit without any work tool fitted:
Place the locking pin to lock the drive unit to a forward pointing position for the best stability during storage.
Uncouple and store the attachment on level ground. The best way to store the attachment is a place where it
is protected from direct sunlight, rain, and extreme temperatures.

Avoid leaving the attachment laying directly on the ground. Place it on blocks of wood or on a pallet, for
example.

Place the multiconnector on to its holder as indicated with an arrow in the figure below. Never leave the
hydraulic connector on the ground.

Make sure that the attachment is secured against all movements during storage.

Never climb on the attachment.
Correct storage position:
To ensure the stability of the
attachment during storage, lay it
down on a pallet so that the quick
coupling plate is easily accessible
with the loader, as shown in the
adjacent picture.

Make sure that hydraulic hoses
will not be left under the
attachment.

Place the multiconnector to its
holder.
