Using the work tools

After you have checked that the drive unit is ready for use, install and use the work tools as shown in this

chapter. Each work tool is used in a different way. Therefore it is important that you read carefully all

instructions related to each work tool and its adjustments, and also about the hazards related to each work

task.
The work tools that are available at the time of production of this manual are shown in the following pages,

and they are listed in Table 3 on page

12.

WARNING

Risk of wrong use - Always read the instructions related to each tool.

Each work

tool is used in a different way and may introduce risks that you need to take into account
when using the Multi function drive unit with a work tool. Use only Avant work tools.

7.1

Changing of work tools

To attach any work tool to the drive unit, follow the following procedure:

Lock the attachment to the quick coupling of the loader, see instructions in this manual

Set the locking of the drive unit angle to needed position. Secure the locking pin with the cotter pin.

Clean the contact surfaces of the work tool and the drive unit before connecting the tool to the drive unit.

Remove the tool locking pin from the drive unit.

Slide the work tool to the drive unit so that the holes are aligned.

Place the locking pin and secure it with its cotter pin.
