IMPORTANT

Before diagnosing a problem vehicle and attempting to perform an emergency
regeneration, it is important to obtain a full diagnostic log and read out relevant
measured value blocks.

NOTE

1. The DPF will not regenerate if the engine management light is on, or there is a

faulty EGR valve.

2. The ECU must be re-adapted when replacing the DPF and when topping up the fuel

additive Eolys.

3. If the vehicle needs to be driven in order to perform a DPF service, ALWAYS have a

second person help you. One person should drive the vehicle while the other
person observes the screen on the Tool. Trying to drive and observe the Scan Tool
at the same time is dangerous, and could cause a serious traffic accident.
