5. The tool establishes communication with the vehicle and reads the control unit
information. Choose
Auto Scan
to scan all the test vehicle available systems
or tap
Control Unit
to access a specific system to diagnose.
Manual VIN Input
For vehicles that not supporting the Auto VIN Scan function, you may manually enter the
vehicle VIN.
To perform Manual VIN Input
1. Tap the
Diagnostics
application button from the MaxiSys Job Menu. The
Vehicle Menu displays.
2. Tap the
VIN Scan
button on the top toolbar.
3. Select
Manual Input
.
4. Tap the input box and enter the correct VIN.
