Resetting your MyStar or MyStar HD
As a first step for any difficulties, or unusual symbols on the display panel for MyStar, we recommend you reset your
set top box:
■
For MyStar – press and hold the [RESET] button for 5 seconds (the RESET button is located on the front panel of
MyStar, see Front Panel on page 63)
■
For MyStar HD – pres and hold the On/Standby button for 10 seconds
This will automatically clear and reset the entire system so that you can start again.
If resetting MyStar or MyStar HD fails to resolve the problem, we recommend you re-boot by turning the power off
at the mains, and then back on within a period of one minute. This will clear any temporary memory issues MyStar
(or MyStar HD) may be experiencing.
Note: Please be aware that when you press [RESET] or turn the power off from the mains, programs currently
recording will stop and scheduled recordings for that period will fail to commence recording.
