Disk space warning
MyStar allows you to record up to 60 hours of programming. MyStar HD can record up to 30 hours of high definition
programming or up to 90 hours of standard definition programming. When you select a program to record, MyStar
checks whether there is enough disk space available to record the program.
You will see a Disk Space Warning message (see figure 23) if you:
■
Attempt to set up a recording for a program exceeding the amount of available disk space
■
Run short of disk space just before the program is due to record
Figure 23
To ensure you have enough disk space available for a recording, simply highlight the program booked to record in
Planner using the
and
arrows and then press the
button on the MyStar remote control. This
will show you how much disk space is required to record the program. For information on disk space management,
refer to page 31.
Note: Disk space availability is calculated from recorded programs that are listed on the Recorded screen. Programs
booked to record in the Booked screen have not been taken into consideration when working out the amount
of available disk space as they have not been recorded yet.
