Check safety of assembled system
and conduct trial run
Laying in casement profile
Route cable on / in casement
- the cable must adapt to the pivoting range of the drive (lay with strap)
- Cable must be protected against damage such as shearing off, kinking,
cracking (e.g. with a cable protection conduit)
with cable transition
without cable transition
Routing of connection cable in lower transition area:
- Ensure that cable doesn't get damaged during opening and closing
(e.g. by kinking, shearing off, squashing). Protect cable routing within profile
e.g. by means of cable sleeves and protect cable transitions.
Install customer-provided junction box and make electrical connection (pages 62 & 63)
- near the window / must be easily accessible later
- mind cable length of drives, standard length approx. 5m
- Ensure that a later removal of the connection cable is possible if necessary
- avoid installation area with big temperature fluctuations- danger of condensation
