Limitation
The pairing sequence time which starts after pressing WPS or P2P button is 120 seconds. The
paring time for both devices must be set to 120 seconds beforehand, otherwise; pairing will be
failed.
WPS protocol does not support pairing multiple APs to one AP client at the same time. It might
cause paring failure.
When pairing two COM ports of the same SW550XC, the device A’s COM1 is paired to the device
B’s COM1 while the device A’s COM2 is paired to the device B’s COM2.
The AP mode is enabled by the software program, so the setting will be lost when restarting the
device.
The actual time to pair the devices depends on the complexity of the environment.
Wi-Fi Direct Group Owner Mode: Quick Steps
1)
Enable Wi-Fi Direct on your SW550xC by
a)
Press and hold the button (on the side of the housing) for 4 seconds
b)
Enable it through website as shown in Figure 5.31 below
