SW550XC can create a WIFI direct connection only by pressing P2P button. To change AP’s mode, press
P2P button for 4~7 seconds. To set it as AP client, press the button over 8 seconds. If user wants the AP
to connect to other clients, press only 1~3 seconds to restart theconnection.
Before creating a serial auto link, first check that the SW550XC COM port has connected to RTU. Then,
follow the remaining steps of the WIFI direct.
Setting of the AP mode is different from the client mode. In AP mode, user modify only LINK mode,
Application and Local Port. In Client mode, user modify only LINK mode, Application, Destination IP 1, and
Destination Port 1. The detailed settings are shown in Table 5.7 - 5.8.

Software program will create a new SSID for both WIFI Direct and Serial Auto Link. For SW550XC, SSID
would be “DIRECT - Xx” where Xx is two random alphabets.
