5-6 Printer

Maintenance

Position the replacement printhead against the printhead retaining plate
for attachment. Be sure that the two side screws are fitted through the
corresponding holes in the new printhead.

1. Cable harness connector

printhead)

6. Printhead retaining plate

3. E-ring/washers securing
platen

roller

7. Center retaining screw

4. Platen support strut

Reinsert and tighten the printhead’s captive retaining screw. Be sure the
cable harness is not crimped or damaged when the printhead is attached
to the printhead plate. The wiring harness should fit through the
opening formed when the two pieces are joined.

Reinstall label media and thermal transfer ribbon.

Reinsert the printhead cam(s) and close the printheads.

Plug the printer back in.
