Power Supply

Use the following procedure to replace the power supply assembly.

Caution:

Circuit boards can be damaged by static electricity. Always use

standard anti-static procedures when working with these boards.

To replace the power supply:

1

Turn the printer off and unplug it. Open the printer cover.

Remove the back cover from the printer. The power supply is located
toward the front of the printer, as indicated in the following illustration.

Power Supply

Disconnect harnesses P1, P2, P3, and P4 from the power supply.

Remove the four Philips screws that mount the power supply to the
bottom of the printer. Then remove the two Phillips screws that mount
the power supply to the main plate.

5

Install the new power supply by using the four Phillips screws to mount
the power supply to the bottom of the printer. Then use the two
remaining Phillips screws to mount the power supply to the main plate.
