Encapsulation of the transmitted packets: LLC or VC-MUX

Determines whether Ethernet is used via ATM or not, see table 
above.

Determines whether VLAN may be used. Up 
to two VLANs can be used concurrently (2

ID:

Identifier for the VLAN to which the frame 
belongs. Every VLAN is assigned a unique 
number, the VLAN ID. A device that belongs

with every other device in the same VLAN 
but not with devices in other VLANs.
