CW Frequency Commands
lists the CW frequency command mnemonic codes. These commands call up each of the 20 preset
(or previously set) CW frequencies. Each command causes its associated CW frequency to be output and opens
that frequency’s parameter for data entry.
The command,
SQF
, accesses the preset frequencies in sequential order—that is, F0 to F9 and M0 to M9.
Programming Note:
Signal generator response to a
SQF
command depends on the state the instrument is in at the time the
command is received. For example, if the MG369xC is in a CW mode of operation with the current output
frequency open for entry, the
SQF
command (1) causes the output to change to the next sequential frequency
and (2) opens that frequency’s parameter for data entry. However, if the instrument is in any other mode of
operation, the
SQF
command causes it to switch to the last CW frequency that was output and opens that
parameter for data entry.
