5.1.1 Speed
The implement computer needs a speed signal for a correct rate con-
trol.
There are different sources for the forward speed signal input.
•
The speed signal can be provided via the ISOBUS.
•
A GPS antenna can be used to receive the speed signal.
•
The speed signal can be calculated using the pulses per 100 m.
•
The speed signal is simulated by entering a speed (e.g. if the
speed signal from the tractor fails).
Entering a simulated speed allows you to continue operation,
even if the speed signal fails.
Select the source for the speed signal.
•
Radar (ISOBUS): Tractor radar
•
Wheel (ISOBUS): Tractor wheel
•
Satellite (NMEA2000): GPS antenna
•
Wheel (implement)

Enter pulses per 328 in / 100 m, or
ο
Teach-in pulses per 328 in / 100 m
•
Simulated (to check the application rate, or
if no other speed signal is available)
ο
Enter the simulated speed

The entered forward speed must be main-
tained later in all cases.

If another speed source is detected, the
simulated speed is automatically deactivat-
ed.
Check the accuracy of the utilized speed
source.

Inaccurate speed sources cause faulty ap-
plication rates.
