Boom load indicator
The boom load is displayed via a bar graph
when driving in curves.
This indicator is used by the driver to determine
a driving method that maximizes the service life
of the boom.
It cannot display the load when changing the
direction of travel and during folding processes.
(1) Current boom load
(2) Maximum permissible boom load.
The permissible boom load must not be exceeded, as this can dam-
age the boom. The number of overruns is documented.
To drive in a manner that is easy on the boom, comply with the fol-
lowing instructions:
•
Significantly reduce the forward speed in front of headlands and
corner at a constant speed.
•
Drive through tight curve radii slowly (below 6 km/h)
•
Avoid jerky steering motions or changes of direction when steer-
ing (e.g. track correction)
•
Do not fold the boom while driving
•
Always move the individual boom elements into a fully-folded
end position (folded in or out). Do not drive with a partially folded
boom.

Avoid quick and abrupt changes in direction
Please note that for any goodwill claims, the meter readings may be
examined depending on the damage pattern.
