Chapter 5: Wiring the DC Connectors

Caution

Verify that the DC circuit is powered off before connecting the power
wires from the switch to the circuit.

8. Connect the voltage and RETURN wires to the DC circuit.

9. Repeat this procedure to connect the power wires to the second DC

power supply in the switch.

10. If you are installing a stand-alone switch, power on the DC circuits and

go to “Monitoring the Switch Initialization Process” on page 71. If you
are installing a VCStack,

do not power on the switch

. Go to Chapter

8, “Verifying the Status of VCStack” on page 89.
