PLSDIV Test Definitions

PLSDIV Setup

PLSDIV Setup

This test definition is used to perform the system setup and the compensation of the 
pulsed IV test system. Specify the system type Pulsed IV (DcSwitch=No) or 
DC+Pulsed IV (DcSwitch=Yes), set the action in the Actions field, and click the 
Single button to perform the action.

Device Parameters

None

Test Parameters

The following parameter is available to select the action.

DcSwitch 

Availability of the pulse/dc switch units, Yes (exists) or No 
(none).

Actions 

Actions available for the pulsed IV system setup. System 
Configuration, Compensation, or Drain Cable Replacement.

•

System Configuration

Specifies the GPIB address and the source or measurement channels of PGU 
(pulse generator), DSO (digital sampling oscilloscope), and SMU (source 
monitor unit) used for the pulsed IV measurement.

Perform this action after completing the system installation or after changing a 
channel assignment or after changing the GPIB address of system components.

•

Compensation

Obtains and updates the compensation factors of the pulsed IV test system.

Perform this action after completing the system installation or after changing a 
channel assignment or after the replacement, repair, or calibration of 
oscilloscope.

•

Drain Cable Replacement

Obtains and updates the compensation factors of the bias-T and the 
measurement path to the drain terminal.

Perform this action after replacing the bias-T or cables used for the drain 
terminal measurement path.
