7 - MAINTENANCE

Brake slack adjusters

WARNING

Equipment rolling hazard!
Securely block both sides of the wheels before you release the parking brake.
Failure to comply could result in death or serious injury.

1. Release the parking brake.

2. Slide the adjuster nut sleeve up

(1)

Use a 9/16”

wrench on the adjuster nut

(2)

.

3. Tighten the adjusting nut until snug by turning the

wrench counter-clockwise looking from the top.

4. When the nut is snug, loosen 1/4 turn clockwise.

5. Make sure the adjuster sleeve slides down over the nut.

6. The slack adjuster will now move so the brake rod

moves up and down
