8. Install foam rubber pad for fuel tank to rest on.
Foam rubber will help prevent fuel from foam-
ing or getting air bubbles from engine vibration
9. Install the tank. Run the fuel pick up line to the
engine. Secure the tank with the two long nylon
ties trim away any excess nylon tie as shown.
11. We installed the fuel dot inside the radio floor to
enhance the scale look of the aircraft. Use thick
CA to secure fuel dot in fuse.
12. Feed filler line through dot and plug line into
filler plug as shown.
10. Gather the fuel filler dot and drill bits as shown
below.
Note:
We recommend you start with a smaller size
drill bit then increase the bit size to the
correct size to fit your filler dot. This will
help prevent the wood from splitting
or
cracking.
