Bend photo etched hinges 143 to fit hatch 
covers. Place hatch covers on boiler house, 
mark positions of hinge pins and drill with 
0.5 mm.

Note:

 Hatch covers can be installed in open 

or closed positions. A piece of brass wire can 
be used to prop up hatch cover.

Attach ship´s bell 146 to photo etched mounting bracket 145 with thread or 
thin brass wire. Drill wheelhouse wall with 0.5 mm and install ship´s bell.

Assemble and glue together two cowl 
ventilators 144 and fit to boiler house roof. 
Determine orientation and height of 
ventilators, then glue in place ventilators 
and collars.

Note:

 To be able to rotate ventilators any 

time, just glue collars to ventilators at 
proper height and insert ventilators in 
boiler house roof.
