The “Connect” button initiates the communication process between the Capitol Setup
application and the AEQ CAPITOL Mixer. If the connection is established correctly the 3
associated buttons become active and the “Connect” button changes to “Disconnect”
(and allows you to end that communication). In addition, the “Licenses” option appears
in the lower part of this area.
In case there is no connection to the mixer, those options are not activated and the
following message is displayed:
The associated buttons functions are the following ones:
o
“
Read
”
:
allows you to read the configuration currently active in the AEQ
CAPITOL mixer and download it in the Capitol Setup application.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
the active configuration at that moment in the application
is overwrited and get lost (unless you previously save it by means of “Export”
option).

“
Send Configuration
”
:
allows you to send the currently selected configuration
to the AEQ CAPITOL mixing console, thus becoming the valid configuration in
operation. The audio will be interrupted a few seconds while the new
configuration is being activated. During the sending, a bar shows the process. If
the process is properly done, the message “
Send Configuration: OK
” is
displayed.

“
Reset
”
:
replaces the currently active configuration on the AEQ CAPITOL
mixing console with the configuration stored in the first memory or snapshot
defined (please refer to section 4.3.5 of this manual). The audio will be
interrupted a few seconds while the new configuration is being loaded.
o
“
Licenses
”
:
allows you to activate the MADI link and/or the “Capitol Virtual” and
“Capitol Screen” applications functionality (these two last are not available yet).
For any of the 3 options, you must purchase a user license.
When you press the padlock associated to any of the 3 options, a window will
appear allowing you to introduce the key associated to the corresponding
functionality.
