5    Operations After Start of Probing

5.2  Overdrive Amount Modification 

 

 

 

 

 

To change the probe tip overdrive amount during lot 
processing, first stop the probing and then touch the 
<Needle Align. Posi. Correct> button on the text map 
or Prober status screen. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The display changes to the contact height manual 
adjustment screen (shown on left). Touch the 
<Overdrive Change> button; the screen again 
changes to the [Probing Parameter] menu which 
contains the parameter “Probing Overdrive” alone, as 
shown below. 

 

Other buttons on the contact height manual

Touch this button twice to move the chuck to below 
the alignment camera and switch the display to the 
probe mark checking screen. (Refer to the following 
page.) 

<CANCEL> 

Stops the contact height determination process 
started with the <Needle Align. Posi. Correct> 
button. 

<Data-in> 

If the contact height determination function is not 
available, you can readjust the probe tip contact 
height while observing the probe tips via the 
camera. Touch the <Data-in> button after adjusting 
the Chuck height with the <Z-UP/DOWN> switch.
