Operation, configuration and communication

Sensyflow iG, Version 1.00

Note
The configuration of the individual slots is supported by GSD file revision 3.0. If the PCS does not support
GSD file revision 3.0, the corresponding configuration alternatives are to be considered (see above).
The bytes in the data telegram are arranged in ascending order with respect to slot usage. An
"Empty_Module" does not influence the byte assignment in the telegram.
Note
When selecting a Total, SET_Total or SET/MODE_Total module simultaneously with the Characteristics
Input module, byte 1 of the Characteristics Input module has no function. The Totalizer is controlled via
the bytes of the Total module (see table above).
7.1.2.1 GSD file
The cyclic data is configured via the GSD file in the process control system (PCS) (the GSD file is con-
tained in the Appendix, file name: ABB_05CA.GSD). The current version of the GSD file is revision 3.0.
Note
If the PCS cannot process GSD file revision 3.0, you can edit the GDS file with a text editor such as Word-
pad, in order to load the file into the PCS. The corresponding sections are described in the GSD file.
