The management software is installed on the "Smart Access Point". The management software
is operated via the indoor station.
The "Smart Access Point" offers the access point for commissioning and managing the ABB-
Welcome IP with a PC or a mobile terminal device.
For opening the Web-based user interface of the Smart Access Point" you require a computer
with a LAN or WLAN network adaptor and an installed Internet browser.
[2] IP actuator H8304
The "IP actuator" carries out the switching commands. The setting is made via the management
software.
The "IP actuator" has the following main functions:

Connection of door openers or lighting circuits.
■
The switching duration of the lock release or the switching on of the lighting can be set via
the Smart Access Point".
■
DIN rail mounting.
■
Firmware can be updated via the "Smart Access Point".
■
Power supply via PoE or separate power supply adapter.
