RT40 Operator’s Manual

10 Hour

Check Bits 

Check bits every 10 hours. Clean and check bits for free rotation. If bits are stuck, remove and clean 
packed soil from retaining ring. Replace bit when tungsten cap or insert is worn.

Check Saw Mounting Bolts

Check attachment mounting bolts every 10 hours. Tighten to 200 ft•lb (271 N•m).
