5 Troubleshooting and Maintenance
5.3 Maintenance
This section describes the most common maintenance solutions that can be performed by the user of
the product. For maintenance solutions not described in this manual, contact the service personnel.
5.3.1 Removing the protective cover
To perform maintenance work and because of slide jamming, the protective cover of the Pannoramic
DESK II need to be removed in order to eliminate the problem. First, make sure that the running
digitization procedure is interrupted prior opening the cover.
Before removing the cover, exit the control software, switch off the 24 V power supply and disconnect
the power cables
.
Caution!
Only instructed persons or service technicians can open the device
completely!
