3 Preparing Slides
If a large slide is needed to be fed and the adapter is attached to the specimen holder, it must be
removed first before feeding the slide.
1. Open slide feeder door, and locate the adapter (marked with red on
Figure 7
) at the front
edge of the specimen holder

2. With the applicator, gently remove the adapter from the specimen holder

3. Put both the applicator and the adapter in a safe place
