Notes on Delayed Ringing
■
The first telephone, and each succeeding telephone in a Delayed
Ringing Pattern continues to ring until the call is answered or
transferred to the Automated Attendant.
■
Telephones belonging to a Delayed Ringing Pattern do not need to
belong to the same group. As long as all the telephones have the
same line mapped, you can create the Delayed Ringing Pattern.
Installing an
Adjunct
You can install and associate an adjunct to a Business Telephone to
provide additional Access buttons.
The NBX 100 adjunct has 50 access buttons. A Shift button allows you to
assign two different mappings to each Access button. When the Shift
button is in the “A” position, you have access to the first fifty Access
buttons, setting the Shift button to the “B” position switches the
mappings so that you have access to 50 different mappings.
You can assign mappings manually through NetSet or use the Auto
Discovery process to configure mappings automatically. A label program
available through NetSet lets you create printed labels for button
mappings.
Four Feature buttons along the bottom of the device give you one-touch
access to features such as Transfer, Transfer to Voice Mail, Call Park, and
Hold. You can change the mapping of any button through NetSet.
