This subsection describes how to configure

via the Short Message Service (

2N Lift8

). Short text messages can help you configure the Central Unit (CU) easily without

SMS

using a PC. See below for their use. You need to know the phone number of the

SIM

card inserted in the

CU to use this function.

The SMS configuration function is supported only on condition that the

CU is equipped with a

GSM Module) or

UMTS

UMTS Module) module.

2N Lift8

This function is not available with the

Every SMS must meet the conditions listed below to be sent to 2N Lift8

successfully. If not, the SMS will be ignored, no changes will be made.
