P (Parking gear)
When the shift lever is at Gear P, the drive wheels will be locked
mechanically and the engine can start. To shift the gear from P to D or
R, the brake pedal must be pressed and the unlocking button on the
shift lever shall also be pressed.
D (drive)
When the shift lever is at Gear D, the high or low gear will be
selected automatically in accordance with the engine load and vehicle
speed. To shift the gear from D or R or P, both the unlocking button
and the brake pedal shall be pressed. To shift the gear from D or N, it
is only needed to push the shift lever.
R (reverse)
To shift the handle from R to P while vehicle stands still, press the
Unlock button on the handle. R could be directly shifted to N, without
pressing the Unlock button.
