* Conditions that side air bag and side air
curtain may extend

Warning light of air bag failure

* The side air bag and side air curtain do not extend unless the vehicle
is suffering from side impact and transverse acceleration has reached
the threshold value.

* Extension of side air bag or side air curtain will not trigger the
frontal air bag.

When the start switch or ignition switch is turned to ON, the warning
light is illuminated for 4s and then goes off for self-inspection.

Following conditions of air bag warning light indicate system failure
and you shall contact with local authorized service station for
inspection:

● Warning light is not illuminated and self-inspect is not started.

● The light fails to go off when the self-inspection has completed.

● Warning light is illuminated or flashes during driving.
