* Engine immobilizer system Vehicle body immobilizer system
The vehicle is equipped with engine immobilizer system, which shall
not be manually activated or deactivated. When pressing the start
button, the valid intelligent remote key is identified in the cab, the
engine immobilizer locking system will be deactivated. If the system
fails to be deactivated, the immobilizer indicator on instrument panel
will be illuminated (remind the driver of failed detection of valid
key). In such condition, you can try to start the engine in following
two ways: depress clutch pedal of MT vehicle or brake pedal of AT
vehicle, place the intelligent remote key at the cup holder marked
with a symbol of key at the bottom of auxiliary instrument panel,
press start button to try to deactivate the engine immobilizer system
or try the standby intelligent remote key. If both ways fail, contact
with authorized service station for troubleshooting.
