Brake override system 

 

* Launch assist 

The  brake  override  system  is  a  system  to  stop  the  vehicle  by  using 
brake  pedal  when  the  accelerator  pedal  is  stepped  and  the  throttle  is 
fully opened (the throttle is stepped to its bottom). In other words, the 
brake  override  system  can  automatically  change  the  engine  to  idle 
speed  when  it  finds  that  the  driver  fails  to  apply  brake  successfully. 
For  example,  when  the  accelerator  pedal  fails  to  reset  because  it  is 
caught by carpet, the brake override system will function. 

 

 

To drive  away the  vehicle  with the launch assist, engine  can  slightly 
speed up.
