Run-in period
Notices for running in the run-in period
To guarantee the service life of car, the run-in is required in the early
period before the vehicle is put into operation; the vehicle can be put
into normal operation only after run-in.
Provisions for run-in period
● During the run-in period, the fuel and engine oil consumptions
may be higher.
● The engine shall not run at a high speed.
● Select the good road and restrict the load and speed. It is
forbidden to open the throttle completely or accelerate the vehicle
suddenly.
● The vehicle with manual transmission shall not run at high gear
but low speed. It is necessary to shift the gear timely.
The overload is forbidden
Do not load above maximum limit during running-in. Otherwise, it
will cause serious damage to parts beyond good running-in condition.
● 0~800 km: not over 50% of maximum load;
● 800~2000km: not over 70% of maximum load;
The long-distance driving is forbidden
Do not drive a long distance during running-in. Parts will be worn if
the engine works constantly for a long time.
Avoid the emergency braking
Minimize the number of emergency braking, otherwise the brake
system will be subject to impact and the impact load onto the engine
is increased by the chassis. Avoid the emergency braking within the
first 300km of run-in period whenever possible.
Avoid towing the car
When vehicle cannot travel normally, please use the flatbed type
towing vehicle for transportation. Use of rope for towing may damage
to the vehicle.
First maintenance
Within the first 3000±500km mileage or three months after purchase
of a new vehicle (whichever comes first), the first run-in maintenance
is required in order to ensure the good condition of car.
