2. Safety instructions
2.1. General information concerning operation of the machine
This machine should be operated according to this operation and maintenance manual, which is a
condition of safe and trouble-free functioning. A user is responsible for their own and other
people’s safety, has to be familiar with the rules of the device use provided below and follow them.
Becoming familiar with the construction and technical data of the device as well as with the
operation manual and safety by-laws is a condition of commencing operating it.
NOTE: Due to the pressure at which the actuators operate, it is recommended
to preserve caution during operation of the device. There is a risk of crushing
hands and other body parts in contact with moving machine parts!
NOTE: Dispensed substances may be flammable, and fed under high pressure
may cause explosion. Therefore, contact with an open fire and other heat
sources, electric and electrostatic discharge sources and any other factors
which may cause fire or explosion must be strictly avoided!!!
NOTE: At any time there is a possibility of an emergency, immediately stop
the operation by using the EMERGENCY STOP button!
2.2. Personnel authorized to operate the machine
Unqualified persons or minors may not operate the device. The term „qualified persons”
encompasses:
specialists who by virtue of their education, experience, training, instruction and familiarity
with the valid norms and regulations, work safety by-laws and the Plant by-laws have been
authorized by the person in charge of work safety to perform any activity that may become
necessary and are able to notice possible hazards and prevent them,
persons who during the start-up period were trained by the employees of the ZIGLER
POLSKA company,
persons who have been sufficiently trained and prepared by the user to operate the device.
