Adjusting the height of BOV crimping head
Height of the head needs to be adjusted in relation to the height of currently used containers.
Height adjustment must always be performed with enabled electric and pneumatic supply. Setting
of height must always be verified paying special attention to correct work cycle of the device. To
increase height of the head following actions need to be performed [Fig. 7]:
1.
Untighten regulation blockade (turning the wheel counter clock) located on the top of
support stand.
2.
Turning the wheel winch clockwise raise support stand to appropriate height so that
distance between container rim and crimping head will be in range 15 ÷ 25 mm [Fig. 8].
Perform one trial cycle cycle (by pressing footswitch). If the head remains in lower position
it means that distance is too small. It’s necessary to reset its position by pressing emergency
Stop Button and set the height again. Return of the head to upper position by having correct
crimp at the same time is the indication of correct setting.
3.
After the correct height is set turn the blockade of adjustment wheel on support stand.
