Operation manual of Z-2312 machine
5.1.
Preparation for start-up
Before device start-up it’s required to ensure if following activities had been performed:
Device is properly installed, air supply, propellant supply and electric supply is connected
accordingly to chapter 3.2.
Appropriate main working pressure, head lowering pressure and pre-gassing pressure have
been set. In necessity regulation need to be made according to chapter 6.1.
Height of working head is appropriate to height of currently used type of aerosol container.
In necessity it needs to be regulated accordingly to chapter 6.2.
Crimping parameters (crimp diameter and crimp height) are adjusted accordingly to types
of valves used. In necessity regulation need to be made according to chapter 6.3.
Pre-gassing time has been set in relation to required dose and pressure of propellant inside
container. In necessity it needs to be regulated accordingly to chapter 6.4.
Position of aerosol containers limiters is appropriate to diameter of currently used
container type. In necessity it needs to be regulated accordingly to chapter 6.5.
After ensuring that all above activities has been made it is possible to proceed to the start of the
device.
5.2.
Start-up and machine operation
Start-up of the device should be performed by authorized personnel according to chapter 2.2. To
begin work with the device it’s necessary to:
1.
Activate electric power supply using main switch [Fig. 2, pos. 15].
2.
Open the manual cut-off valve [Fig. 3, pos. 1] on the air preparation unit located inside
cabinet, by rotating its switch counter-clockwise. This will provide air supply to the
machine, working heads will move to the top, starting position.
3.
Use the footswitch to start a single cycle [Fig. 2, pos. 10].
5.3.
Stopping the machine. Emergency Stop
Stopping the operation of Semi-automatic BOV Crimping Machine Z-2312 proceeds in a similar way
to its starting:
1.
Disable electric power supply by setting main switch in “OFF” position.
2.
Switch the main cut-off valve [Fig. 3, pos. 1] to closed position.
Additionally device was equipped with Emergency Stop button [Fig. 2, pos. 14]. Pressing it will cause
immediate stop of the machine and will immediately cut-off electric and pneumatic supply. In order
to return for work, release the E-STOP button by pulling it out and press RESET button.
