In construction of Z-2312 following elements can be distinguished [Fig. 2]:
1. Footing;
2. Support stand;
3. Height adjustment wheel;
4. Can limiters;
5. Crimping head;
6. Head lowering actuator;
7. Crimping actuator;

Terminal valve initiating return of crimping actuator

9. Terminal valve indicating end of crimp cycle;
10. START – footswitch for initiating the cycle;
11. NORMAL/BOV - operation mode switch. BOV mode activates pre-gassing performed before
crimp, in NORMAL mode machine performs plain crimping;
12. PREGASIFYING TIME - Pre-gassing time adjustment knob;
13. RESET – button restoring power after an emergency stop and positioning device to its initial
position. It is also used to initialize control system after powering up (cold start) using main
power switch;
14. E-STOP – Emergency Stop button;
15. Main power switch;
16. Valve adjusting head lowering speed (red tube);
17. Valve adjusting head return speed (green tube);
18. Air supply pressure gauge;
19. Head lowering pressure gauge;
20. Head lowering pressure regulator;
21. Pre-gassing pressure gauge;
