Installation

1. Installation is the reverse of the removal 

procedure except for the following:

2. Renew discarded zip ties.

CAUTION:

 Always perform the High Voltage 

Discharging procedure prior to servicing any 
High Voltage component or connection. Proper 
procedures must be followed! To protect 
electrical components, perform the following 
tasks in the order given. Do not deviate from the 
repair procedure processes.

NOTICE:

 Before carrying out any work on the 

electrical system, remove the key from the key 
switch.

Removal

1. Remove 6kW charger. See 

6KW Charger

2. Remove rear cover. See

3. Remove BMU. See 

Battery Management Unit

4. Remove bolts (x4) securing inner top cover.

5. Remove inner top cover.

Note: This will allow the release of the captive 
charge inlet harness.
