2. Use a shop vacuum with a brush head
attachment to remove as much dust and
debris as possible from the top of the
controller.
3. This is an example of a vacuumed controller,
prior to wiping with ISO70 prepped paper
towels.
4. All controller terminals (x5) must be clean and
in good condition (no severe pitting or
evidence of arcing).
5. Vacuum out the debris around the controller.
6. Apply ISO70 (isopropyl rubbing alcohol 70%)
to a paper towel and clean the top of the
controller. It is not critical to remove all the dirt
inside of the pocket (see arrow).
CAUTION:
Do not spray the ISO70 directly
on the controller or terminals. Spray ISO70
on a paper towel and wipe the area clean.
7. Install new orange terminal gaskets (x5) on the
controller terminals.
